Tribute Campaign honors Kim Herman for his dedication to independent colleges and affordable housing
Join the staff of the Washington State Housing Finance Commission (WSHFC) and Washington Higher Education Facilities Authority (WHEFA), plus friends around the nation, in recognizing Kim Herman with a special tribute gift. Mr. Herman is retiring as the founding and continuing executive director of the Housing Finance Commission since 1983 and WHEFA since 1994. He is also the recipient of the 2020 ICW Stanley O. McNaughton Leadership Award, the association’s highest award.
All tribute gifts will be pooled to create a named or endowed scholarship* in his honor.
*Should pooled gifts fall below established minimums, all contributions will be applied to an existing scholarship fund of his choice.
Investing in higher education drives a strong economy
For more than 60 years, ICW has promoted educational opportunity through policy engagement, programs, and fundraising partnerships. We are dedicated to helping students pursue their college aspirations, and Washington achieve its postsecondary attainment goals.
Every day, we work to promote the essential role of private, not-for-profit, liberal arts based colleges and universities in bringing quality and diversity to Washington’s higher education ecosystem.
Join us in ensuring the next generation’s success.
Behind every student are strong public and private community partners. Here are the companies, foundations, and individuals that stood side by side with ICW students from July 2018 – June 2019:
